This Singaporean restaurant is surprisingly authentic. The owners (Susan and PJ) personally served us and was extremely friendly and service oriented. We had Otak (Malay fish cake) and Chwee Kueh (steam rice cake with preserved radish topping) for appetizers. For main dish, we had Mee Siam ( spicy/sweet/ sour vermicelli) and Nasi Lemak (coconut rice). For dessert, we had Pulot Hitam (black glutinous rice with coconut cream). It was all delicious and we wanted to try every menu item but couldn't. We succumbed to order curry puff, Kaya (coconut/pandan jam) and more Nasi Lemak to go. A must try if you are curious about Singaporean cuisine!

Comfort food < $15 pp that’s not heavy on the salt. The spicy dishes are about jalapeño level 1 and it’s house made. I prefer the original Hainam chicken. Portions are fair for what they charge. Mom and pop operation. If you are used to heavy cream type curry this ain’t for you. Would visit if I’m in the area.

Very delicious! Brought me back to Singapore. Service was quick. The atmosphere was welcoming and the prices are very reasonable.

Love love love. Family-run super authentic Singaporean food. The flavours are just perfect, nothing is too spicy. The curry puffs are flaky and I like the addition of the boiled egg. The laksa has everything you would want--tofu puffs, shrimp, fish cakes, etc. Food is more affordable than most places in Vancouver and came out fast.

There aren't many Singaporean restaurants in Vancouver, so I decided to give it a try based on the high reviews. My first experience was not good for take out, and the food was cold and no cutlery. I ordered a Laksa Yellow and Rice Noodles, and I arrived at 11:45am. I could tell the food should be good because the dining room was pretty full, and I could see there were few takeout orders at the bar ready for pickup.I was shocked when I opened the bag and there was a small soup container that was leaking and solid food was wrapped around it. It was impossible for me to put all the food in the small soup container. Also, they didn’t gave me cutlery, so how could I eat? They think that I wanna eat the food at home. ??I got lucky and found an extra fork from my previous order at another restaurant. I managed to eat as dipping noodle, but it was very unpleasant and inconvenient to eat.I ordered through their website, and it was very simple and cheaper to order there than Uber Eat. However, I didn't see any option that Include Utensils"

heads up - you need to order, pay + tip before they will seat you.No issues paying up front, but they ask you for tip when you pay. This is before you even sit down, eat, or have a chance to experience their overall service. In terms of food, the taste is good. We ordered the Laksa, Nasi Lamak, and Satay.Service was fine as well, someone came periodically to re-fill our water.Overall, I would probably return again if a friend wanted to visit.

I feel I'm back in Singapore, the chicken puff is so crispy and better than Old Chang Kee (their secret the owner told us is less potato and more meat)!Oh and the home made satay sauce (which they sell as well) is divine!
